Facebook has become the largest social networking site. Facebook provides an easy way for generation-y to communicate and keep in touch, as well as business to advertise and reach their consumers.
I propose to write a report on how businesses are utilizing Facebook as a way of marketing and advertising to their clients on the social networking site.

Buisness’s are promoting their company on social media such as Facebook.
Companies advertise their business by offering a chance to winning a shopping spree by utilizing Facebook. For example, Kohl’s e-mailing customers and offering them a chance to win a 100 gift card by becoming a fan on Facebook and describing what they love most about Kohl’s on their Facebook wall.
Since Facebook is the number one social networking site, Buisness could utilize Facebook as a way to target and advertise to their direct audience.
